Stranden

In the area around La grade Freinet there are several choices to go to the beach since we’re at the Cote d’Azur. Hereby some options:

Plage Pampelone St.Tropez

VARTOUXXQ100_PBL_PLAGE

This long streched beach is situated between Ramatueel and St.tropez. Here you’ll find the famous Club55 and Niki Beach but you can also enjoy lots of quiet places to spend your day. One of our favorites is Les Quinade (the favorite hangout of Brigitte Bardout) and …… It will take you approximately 30 min by car.

 St. Maxime

A more quiet beach. Don’t go for the one in the actual village but the beach 5minutes outside in direction of Cannes. Here you’ll find nice places to spend the day such as Le Wyck, La Voile and Prao Plage. From La Garde Freinet drive in the direction of Plan the la Tour and in will take you approximately 20min. by car.

Port Gogolin

Next to the beautiful enchanting harbor of Cogolin there’s the place. It’s a small beach closest to the house, just under Grimaud. Nice for kids to play but not many venues for the grown ups to hang out.

Croix Valmer

Gigaro Beach is the biggest sand beach in La Croix Valmer. This beach could be cut into three zones. The most frequented is the central part with a first-aid station open in season. It is easily accessible by stairs from the road. We find several businesses around: supermarket, restaurants, bars…)
The western part borders Héraclée Beach (accessible from the latter if you go toward the left). The eastern part is the most preserved and offers a great view of Cape Lardier. It’s equally the depart for the coastal path.
To get here from La Croix Valmer, follow directions for Gigaro. The beach is found at the end of the coastal road. Parking is available along the road. We also find a parking lot where you’ll have to pay in season.
